Seattle, We're Coming For Ya!

You guy’s: It’s all HAPPENING!

We’ve locked down rehearsal space and workshop performances at ACT Theatre in Jan. and early Feb., then we’ll take a two month hiatus (haha, “hiatus.” yeah, right.), and then we’ll have our full-scale production at Seattle Repertory Theatre in April! Ernest was right: “Superhuman effort isn’t worth a damn unless it achieves results.

We can’t wait to take our show to the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

Our Very Own Frankenstorm

No one ever said that making theatre was easy. Little did we know…

Our first workshop was slated for NYC in late October 2012. Which means…we were there when good ol’ Hurricane Sandy hit. Our first venue was The Alchemical Theatre Laboratory but we had to switch locations because they were completely shut down from the storm. We then moved our rehearsals into Joe DiPietrio’s apt and continued preparing for our performance. (You’ll see a pic of him below with our new writer, Rocko.)

In a quick shuffle, we booked a new space at the Producers’ Club and were able to pack the house with a great audience. This was a great opportunity to show off the new script and get feedback from the NYC theatre scene movers and shakers. No longer a one-woman show, we added the character of Ernest Shackleton and had Brandon play him this time around.

The response to the show was so overwhelmingly positive! It made all of the Frankenstorm-crazyness worth it.  We’re so excited to continue working on the piece and sharing this story with everyone.
